TH 350 questions

I am putting a 350 Turbo behind a sbc 408 in a 66 Nova. IT has been built but does NOT have a manual valve body. It will be drag raced only. Do I need to install a kickdown cable or can I just eliminate it??

No need for a kick down on a drag car.I would eliminate the cable.Just my 2 cents...
