I just read his post and I was shocked!! We must all do something for him if possible, If you live near him go and visit him, he's even asked for financial help, which Im sure was very hard for him!! I agree David, I am sure any help would be greatly appreciated. Ed is one of the best men I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, and he needs our help this time.

I have never met Ed in person, but we talked a lot in 2007, maybe over 10 hrs. sometime 1 1/2 hrs. at a time. I found him to be very knowledgable. I don't know if you guys know or not, but his problems all started when he was severly beaten in a robbery, his whole face was beaten in, jaw broken, kicked it the head,etc.
I for one will reach into my pockets to help him, even though i'm also on SS.

Zipper, Thanks for the info on Ed. I have never met him but he has given me good advice here on the RJ forum and it sounds like he needs our help. I am a carpenter working three days a week and paying for my daughters college education so money is tight but I will do what I can to help him. Thanks again Zipper. Mike
