HOW FAST?

just guessing how fast would you think a motor out of a chevy 2 weighing 3100lbs running 6.60 would run in a vega wagon weighing 2500lbs,so i guess i'm asking how much more would the motor get by droping 600lbs,in the 1/8 mile

my wagon runs now 6.90 (2500lbs),his chevy2 runs 660 (3100)my motor is a 355 double hump heads steel crank roller rockers,,his motor is a 358 aluminum heads aluminum rods light weight crank,,,thanks steve

p.s my guess would be the wagon would run around 6.30's

I would say in the neighborhood of 6.15 or so maybe a touch quicker...

right now i'm hooking real good bringing both fronts off the ground 12" or more,,i have a ladder bar set up w/new coil over shocks,tires 28/12's,,,,thanks steve

well my friend bought the motor for his vega,his car weighs about 2100lbs and the motor slowed his car down 1/10,but his stall is not bigger enough and i don't think his gear is enough,,he had a 355 w/cast crank doublehumps heads and 13-1 domes
