Got a car that has a solid lift custom grind Nitrous cam, tried to find out what the valve lash was supposed to be but i have not had any luck with previous owner,so any suggestions on how i should set them?No cam card of course,on nitrous cams are the valve lash tighter?I know i can pull the cam,but dont really want to do that untill the winter.I did check them just to see kinda where they are now and they range from .002-.008-.010 and in between.

.002?
Wow that's WAYYYY to tight!
Loosen that puppy up!
I'd put them all on a even .022 cold just to be on the safe side but thats JMO and I'm sure someone will disagree> if you insist on having split lashes put the intake on .022 and the exhuast on .028.

Yep- I am w/ Cepx... I have talked about this some on this forum on a different thread... it was 3 or 4 pages long... but no one had anything like .19/.30... that's tighter than a Catholic girl on prom night!! Mine is .26/.26 on a BBC w/o nitrous... but I am certainly no expert on this.

Did you check them with the engine hot? Makes a difference. Cold the lash may be on the tight side.

some cams call fortighter lashes depending on the lift and duration. I always found .022-.024 a good starting point.
too loose may cause a problem,

I got a bullit that's .590/.595 lift and it calls for .026,.028 hot, i was told by bullit i could go as low as .018,.020 but not any lower. I spent close to $800.00 and went to a .626 roller and picked up a whole .005 in the 1/8, it wasn't my idea of fun.
