Has anyone had dealings with BADIRONHORSE? He may have tried to con me. Troy in St. Joseph, Mo. 64501. Ad 1227143. He contacted me by message on 6/24/08 and made an offer on the first message. The ad states price, shipping to be buyers resonsibility, payment to be by cash or postal money order and has 6 pictures of the heads, intake and manifold for sale. After a couple of exchanges and phone conversations we made a deal on June 28. But I still did not have his shipping adddress. Then the next day he messaged me again and said he was sending a letter on the next day with a check and his mailing address.
I messaged him back and reminded him the terms of the ad were cash or postal money order and that a check would slow down the transaction as I would not send his parts until my bank verified thru his bank and the money was in my account. I asked him to contact me if there were any questions.
Since then no letter, no check, no anything. I messaged him to asked what happened. No response. I am in eastern Illinois and he is in Missouri so 4 days is plenty of time for a letter to arrive? Did he expect me to send the parts and then there be no money in that account?? Is it just a misunderstanding? Just posting to let others to be aware and to see if he has done this before.
