I'll be suprised if he answers you, he hasn't answered me yet. Not only is he a liar and a crook, but is also a coward. I paid someone to travel and make the trade. The set of headers he has for sale on this site, and some other parts were supposed to be sent with the truck I traded for. He "forgot" to send them, told me twice he would ship them to me, and now a few weeks later, has decided to sell them instead. He told me right after the trade he was happy with it, but now is trying to change our agreement after it was made. I hope no one else gets burned by this guy, be careful. He can not be trusted.

I sell many, many parts (only a handful on RJ). I am having a difficult time in understanding why Jays buddy was responsible for retrieving the included parts from YOUR shop/garage. I would never let ANYONE leave without all the stuff they were supposed to receive, especially after driving a long distance. You knew what he was supposed to get, YOU should have been a responsible seller and be sure ALL of the parts were there before you closed the deal and let the man leave. By your own admission, he was supposed to have received the parts with the vehicle.

I also do not understand why Jay is a coward by having someone go get the vehicle. I do it quite often, if that makes me a coward and/or a cheat, then please, find me ONE person that will say I ever shafted them and I will square it up IMMEDIATELY.

This is not about the condition of the truck, Jays buddy inspected it and said go ahead with the deal, so that kinda falls back into the buddys lap. That has nothing to do with the parts not being delivered.

Now, having said that I want you to understand, this is just my opinion. I am not calling you a crook, thief or even a bad guy, but the deal isn't square and you should try to make it that way.

Cowboy up and send the parts to the guy or give him the CASH you expect to get for selling HIS parts.

I am not getting into a pissing contest with anyone, just stating my thoughts. So, if you wish to bash on me for giving my opinion, go ahead, you will get no response from me. 8)

I said I would pay for shipping of the parts. He said he was shipping them last Thursday and I would recieve them this week. I have emails to prove it. Now they are for sale here on this site. Whether my friend forgot the parts or not is not the issue, Steve Reynolds should have had the parts together for him like we agreed. Yes, I have been hounding him for my parts, and still don't have them. I just wanted what we agreed to. Please be careful when dealing with Steve Reynolds, he is not a man of his word. How does paying someone to make the trip make me a coward? Steve, please take action against me.

you people voicing your opinions without knowing the whole story is just insane.he says i have his parts and wont deliver.the truck he got on trade was a show truck 4wd and the bike he traded me was missing 1 mirror,the horn doesnt work,alarm doesnt work he says it has,side cover was painted with a spray can and it runs like crap.so he got over on me big time and i will have to fix all these problems the bike has, which he didnt disclose or lied about in his ad.the way i see it is, we are both out money and parts we didnt get and i say the baby bannister needs to do exactly what im having to do.buy my own parts and fix what he said the bike had and didnt.i didnt receive the mirror that was missing,i didnt get a new sidecover,the alarm doesnt work,i didnt receive a working horn,i didnt receive new exhaust pipes to replace the ones that are bent.i just paid $260.00 for new exhaust to be put on the bike.so again being cheated,ripped off,didnt get my parts,goes both ways folks.he just thought he was going to pull one over on me and it didnt happen,bottom line.i have bought and sold on racingjunk several times and never a problem,should tell you something.my ebay rating 100% positive 2yrs

The motorcycle was a 2006 Harley with 4100 miles. It was very clean. I recently got it on a trade, so I didn't know much about it. I sent many pictures, (showed only one mirror), and told him everything I knew about it. He was their to look at the bike, and decided to trade after inspection. The parts were supposed to be sent with the truck when the trade was made. If he didn't like the bike, or it was misrepresented, he could have sent it back to me. He made the trade, kept my parts, and is now trying to lie his way out. His first excuse was that I expected him to pay shipping, I told him I would pay. Now he is blaming it on the condition of the bike. The real reason is because he is dishonest. I am also a 4 year Ebay member, 100% positive, have been RJ member for years, and have made trades all over the country. This is the first experience I have ever had like this. Please be careful when dealing with Steve Reynolds. And show truck? It won't pass state inspection, has no exhaust, needs at least two tires, and hardly runs. I can't even take it to the store. All I wanted when I started this posting was to warn people. Good luck.

I agreed to the trade, so I'm willing to accept the condition of the vehicle, like you said, I told him to bring it home. I have no problem with that. I only brought up the condition of it because he called it a show truck. Far from show quality. My problem is the fact that he didn't send the parts as was our deal, never had the nerve to tell me, and then put them, ( sorry a different pair), on here for sale. I don't want, or expect anyone to take sides, you don't know him, you don't know me. I have been a member for years, have done lots of trading, and never once felt the need to get on here and complain. Noone has ever felt the need to complain about me either. This guy has been a member since February, and there is already a problem. Please BEWARE! I have nothing to gain, I know I'm not getting what's owed to me, I just hope this post helps a fellow trader. I'm one of the guys on here that does travel, (paid someone this time), make trades, and keep his word. Steve couldn't even leave the house. Thanks for reading.

I will say this about jbannist. I have know this man for 25 years and I have never been done wrong by him. Matter a fact, he is one of the only people I can count on for anything. He always shoots straight and never ask for more than what is suppose to come his way. Jay asked me personally about this deal and what I thought. From pictures I said it looked fair. I know the truck that I picked up was not a show truck as explained by no means. I told Jay it needed quite abit of work but was fixable with some time. The two front tires were no where even safe to drive on from cuts, dry rot, an missing lugs. The truck was not legal to drive, had no exhaust on it so I could not even drive it around the block before the trade. The truck hardly ran good enough to even pull on the trailer, but I called Jay and he said go ahead and bring it back if I thought most of it could be fixed. On the way back, I called him to let him know I was coming into Texas and he asked if the guy gave me a set of ceramic coated headers, plug wires, or a Grant steering wheel. I at that time informed him that none of that was in the truck, or in the bed of the truck. Jay said he forgot to inform me of the items, but that the seller said he was going to send them with the truck. I delivered the bike myself. The first thing this man said to me was the bike looked better in person than in the pictures. This was not my deal and I was only hired to pick up and deliver, not check a parts list. In my eyes this man is full of it and is not worth the words that have come from his mouth. To try to blame me (someone that he had never talked to or even part of the deal) is absurd! He should have been prepared to make this trade as the two parties agreed on. Not blame someone that was not part of it to cover up his mistakes. Dont deal with pitbull777 if atall possible.

jay bannister told me when we started talking about the trade,that he contacted me to do,that he had bought the bike for his wife and it was to big for her.he didnt say he traded for the bike or i would have been curious as to why he wanted to get rid of it.he didnt even have the title in his name and he forged the guys signature on it and forged his name on a bill of sale also.i didnt ride the bike or inspect it very close when his buddy brought it to me i took jay bannister's word on the condition of the bike,boy was i wrong to take his word.the arkansas revenue office has the documents that jay forged in their records.sent many pics my butt jay wouldnt send any pics other than the 1 side of the bike in his ad.like i said im fixin the problems the bike has out of my own pocket,i never cryed and whined to him to buy my parts.his buddy had jay bannister on the phone inspecting the truck in my drive telling him everything about the truck and jay bannister told his buddy to hurry up and make the trade before i had a chance to inspect the bike and back out of the deal.the truck runs fine its cold natured in the morn and after its warmed up runs nice.i was trying to put a new exhaust system on the truck but he was in such a hurry to do the trade and he told me not to do anything to the truck,that he wanted to do all the work himself.all i know is im not a scammer,never have been,never will be.

More lies. First, when I got the bike on trade, I received a signed title and Texas application for title from the man I got the bike from. I didn't have it long, so I never titled it in my name. Steve Reynolds needed a bill of sale, so I tracked the previous owner down and had him make a bill of sale for him. Steve said if I couldn't get a bill of sale, no problem, he would make his own. No forgery by me. I had hoped my wife would be able to ride it, it was too big, I already have another one, and can't ride or need 2 so I traded the bike. Everyone has heard both sides, I don't care if you believe me, or believe him, but if you trade or deal with him, watch your backside. I could go on forever about all the lies Steve has told, but I've wasted enough time, I wanted people to hear my story, not get into a b!tchfest with this guy, the money was never the issue, it was the principle. I have accepted the fact that I won't get whats owed to me, and will move on. Good luck out there traders, and thanks for letting me vent. It helps.
