I wont list his name yet but I traded A brandnew set of BBC Alum Heads(Bare) for a new crossram W/New 450 carbs--We agreed on the deal On a Sunday & I shipped the heads out on Monday as agreed on--That was on April 30th & I never recieved the carbs--He shipped me the intake about 3 weeks later & So far no carbs--I did talk to him once & he told me he was shipping the carbs--About 2 weeks ago--Nothing--He doesnt respond to phonecalls & his message box is full-sooooo--He has'nt responded to any of my emails & about now Im becoming concerned!! We had another trade that was suppost to happen but nothing as of yet--I would really like to conclude the original deal before starting into another--
I talked to him & he really sounds like an honest person,I want to give him the benifit of doubt but its pretty hard to do after 6 weeks of waiting & he has my heads!! I dont think he has any postings on here but I know he got my ad off RJ so he does visit--I will know for sure when I repost--


Well Im about satisified this guy ripped me off--No phone calls,no email,ect ect--He is a member of RJ goes by the name of Sweetpea-I have his real name ,Paul Zodda,59 Blackman Rd,Hebron CT--What the hell is this world coming to? Its getting hard to find honest people to deal with anymore--He stole the heads as it were,No need not to send me the parts we agreed on--Hind site tells me I should have shipped only one head & the other when I recieved my parts?? I guess being honest these days is getting to be rare--If anyone knows this clown or anything about him I would appreciate your response--My email is [email protected] for looking

--- The most important thing to me in my day to day dealings with other people is to keep them informed---He did end up screwing me out of one of the carbs--If you deal with this guy such as trading parts--Make sure you have yours in hand before you ship out any--You know your honest & he will get his parts,Thats a damn site more that I can say for Paul--I did post the 2 ads he has listed in my original posting--I wont post anymore on this matter,enough said--I will take my most deserved hosing & Try & not be as dumb in the future(if thats possible) I Really want to recend the appolige I posted,I really doubt his father was sick at all (atleast I hope he wasnt)

Have you ever watched Survivor? There are always the Johnny Fairplays out there (he made the ploy that his grandmother had died to get sympathy on the show) that will say anything. I would wait until I had the carburetors and everything, before I retracted the ad and made the apologies. Promises can be made, but it is the following through that makes it legit. It only takes a couple of minutes to let someone know.

I could care less about stupid excuses, true or not!! My son was killed in Iraq in October 2005, within 24 hours ALL my loose ends were tied up. I have been taking ALL the time I need since then to mourn and still do on a daily basis. Wonder how the staff would have felt had I not shown up for the procedures for our patients! Um,,staff, patient, facility, all stood up because I was to lazy to communicate. Hell no, not on my shift!!

Many folks are dependent on a mans word, your setback and failure to follow through always will have a domino effect. Maybe a man didn't get to race because you were "to busy" to ship his item, bet your ass you made it to the bank with his dough though!

Once you receive his money, it becomes yours, and at that time the item belongs to the buyer, not you. SEND it within 24 hours, with a tracking number!!

Ok vented enough!! :lol:

Actually he sent me a postal tracking# lastnight--Im waiting to see the carbs--I really hope all turns out well,I dont think he placed enough importance on his dealing But I do believe hes honest & those are getting scarace out here--We were suppost to do some dealing on the motor but guess he decided he didnt want to deal with it--Thats dissappointing but his choice--Ive never posted anyone because I recieved something I didnt like--I make the deal & good or bad I can live with it--I have a set of SBC heads laying on my bench right now that the guy hosed me on--Ones angleplug & the others a straight plug--Ever try & sell something like that? It cant be done & of course I cant use them--Like I said --I can live with it & you can bet he wont sell me anything else--If hes a big seller he hurt himself,I buy alot of parts out here---Thanx for looking

Thanks a bunch for the kind words. I don't want to lose sight of this post though. I have to admit, we do love to talk about and mention Jay as much as we can. I only mentioned him, because I really believe what I am posting. I hope Patterson gets his stuff, if he doesn't, I say we ride his scammer until he does! 8)

Guess I should have listened to some of the responses I got before appoligizing so humbly--I did get ONE carb Friday--Now Am I that stupid(Probably so) That I would trade a brandnew in the box set of BBC Alum heads for a 2x4 Intake & ONE CARB??? And This Guy thinks I should send him a rectport Intake for free?? Well the boy finally emailed me after I pointed out to him that I posted him everywhere-Hes telling me I cheated him by sending rectport heads instead of oval? If they are rect they are small & also I could have sold them several times If I would have known they were rect! Hes theatened to post me on RJ & also sue me for his declining sales & his charactor assination!LOL I encourged him to do both--I again encourged him to either send my heads back & I will return his parts--Or send me the carb,which ever makes him the happiest--Deal done--Im sure he wont send the heads back & I really dont think he will send the carb either??
