He used the name GOLOUD. The mailing address turns out to be a UPS outlet with a mail box service. I'm sure he used that to keep suspicion off him. I got a phone call from a guy who claimed that this guy's name is possibly Mark and his last name starts with H. He did not know his full name nor would be elaborate, and his caller ID was blocked so I could not call him back. He claimed that this Mark H has a 66 or 63 Corvette and has a habit of burning people with crap parts or NO parts. I decided not to push too hard on this Mark H until I know for sure if he is Johnny Rocket or not. I would hate to wrongly accuse someone and mess up his life over $200. I will offer a reward of $250 for a real name and address of this joker.

If the a$$hat that ripped you has a 63 Vette then he is likely known in the Vette community. Pretty tight knit and I am sure he doesn't want a reputation with the local community - word travels fast... can't recall the local vette forum, but stay tuned asking a buddy and will post up the address.

That is easy enough to confirm-The site moderators can verify the IP address of all logins. The Internet Protocol is like a fingerprint from the computer your are using-While dial-up still uses a variable IP, I believe DSL and cable use static IP addresses from the usesrs computer. (please correct me if i am wrong).

The site mods can look at the two logins check the IP and see if it is the same user under a different name or alias.

We forgot that most everything we do electronically leaves a trail, and btw, when you delete something? its really never gone :)

Maryland has the same look-up, as I think most states do. On an earlier thread (different guy) I asked the question of what state the case was filed in to see if the same case look-up was available. I didnt even think of it here as the state was available all along.
