a flare jet is a flare jet, not much difference exept some are stainless steel, and the other cheaper ones are brass.

er, not exactly. The degree of flare is different and not all jets are interchangeable as a result.

Not true at all. Most jets that are out there are made in different ways. Some drilled some cnc'ed, and some are flowed after they are made. The brass jets are the most inconsistent jets you can buy( I only know of one company that makes excellent brass jets, not well known). Stainless steel are becoming the norm and most are cnc'ed so you do end up with more consistant jetting which is necessary with a fogger system. The flowed jets are the best for getting the most consistant cylinder to cylinder equalization of nitrous and fuel with a fogger system. The flowed jets are really designed for the guy running on the edge of a tune.

I had bought som stainelss steel nos jets to replace the brass & they look a little different on the base , like they have a litlle bevel where it meets the stem, the brass jet looks like a mushroom, the bas to the stem looks is a 90 degree angle, where the Stainless one tapers a little, if it fits is it ok?
Thanks for the replys
