here is somethimg for all you guys. norulesnationals.com . the no rules nationals ..may 31 08..national trails raceway, columbus,ohio. instant green. 4 classes. all racer fee to purse. if your tired of all the rules in racing, check it out. this is a new event that will grow into the speed finals of the north.

Just curious..if its no rules....why 4 classes..?...just curious..
we run a local class that is in many places now..its run what ya brung..only rule is no lenco's or bruno's..( try to keep PRO-MODS out).
heads up pro-tree..entire field qualifies ( no bump) then field is inverted ..Fastest et runs the slowest et..
glad to see heads up tho....go get em....

It would seem to me that no rules run what you brung $$$$$ would win and a 9 or 10 second car wouldn't stand a chance. Maybe the 4 classes is to divide up the brackets like in the old days of NHRA.

not trying to hi-jack thread..but speaking of older days Ed Horton had his annual cook out at his shop today...i did not go but my Buddy Greg Porter goes each year.....he said Gene Cromer and Dude Moore was there among many..
bunch of Hot dogs/Hmaburgers,Burn Outs and War Stories so I hear...
thought ya would want to know...
