New to the game and have discovered my CSR composite shield expired a couple months ago. Is this a big deal? Will tech refuse me? The tag is not possible to read without taking the tinwork out of the car. How unsafe could this be? 10 second big block Camaro th400.

being you running slow then 9.90 its not required to be SFI, as long as you have it on there you'll be ok saftey wise. During the winter you should send it in to CSR and have them re-sfi tag it.

vehicles running faster than 10.99 or over 135mph SFI 4.1 sheild required. certification is good for 5 years for the rigid shield
