[quote="edvancedengines"]With the best quality Ti-17 Professional Grade Retainrs the retainer OD is smaller than the spring OD. There is no reason for the retainer to be as large or larger than the spring.} Thanks Ed-I replaced my Manley Titanium retainers with a set of Xceldyne Titanium retainers that fit snug in the springs and are smaller then the spring OD,chambered the springs, clearanced the rockers to remove the rubbing marks and now the rockers have NO marks on them after several 1/4 mile passes.

Perfect :D I love the nothing over kill combos.
Small cubes, carb, cam and heads but good compression with alcohol. This should be a bullet proof low maintenace engine, everything works together. You did your home work, cool 8) and the small tires give it that sleeper look. Loose a little weight and the 5's aren't to far away. My hats off to you, great 67' Camaro :D
