i cant belive that anyone would even consider to vote for a man or woman that would not honor our flag. if he cant or wont honor our flag then he sure as hell aint going to honor the ones who died for it.send him to russia or irag but not the whitehouse.

Sadly, political things do not happen for whatever is best for our country, instead, politics are just a big 'ol high-school-prom-queen popularity contest. He is "cool" and "hip" and "something new and fresh that this country needs". NO.What we NEED is another Harry Truman Or another FDR.SOMEONE WITH GUTS.Oh'thats right....Congress is gutLESS and that makes them look bad  We need another Boston Tea Party..........if you ask me,which you didn't....but there it is anyway :D

buddy i agree with you 100% but instead of throwing tea overboard we should throw congress overboard and tied to cinder blocks.or riceburners. we need someone with balls the size of basketballs.which so far i havent seen yet. i love my country but i hate what they have donr to her.they say its a complicated world and there is no easy solutions WRONG the only thing that makes things complicated is the dunba$$ that is to blind to see it.

on the issues we want, their reply is we don't know whats good
for us, well didn't we vote them in? lets clean house and realy
think about the vote coming up, we all need to stick together,
man they want to break us, too much free spending on the hill

Hmmm.So Obama lost to Hillary in West Virginia. What did he have to say about it?"Well,West Virginia don't matter anyway"   If WVA don't matter then why does he want to "lead" them?? I am the only one,or does this "man" have NO RESPECT FOR OUR COUNTRY AT ALL!!!!

olds, he has no respect for our country or the ones who have died and are still dying.back in the 70s i saoid the goverment was taking my rights away and everyone said i was crazy or i didnt know what i was talking about. well guess what!! let this man get in office and you can kiss america goodbye. i am not a longhaired fanatic. but a student of current events and history and when i put the two together it seems we are on a downhill slide and there isnt a way back up and im afraid this idiot will be leading the way.

I NEVER put my hand over my heart during the singing of the National Anthem, and the last time I said the Pledge of Allegance was probably when I was in school. Does that mean I don't care about this country? NO it doesn't.
It means that I NEVER put my hand over my heart during the singing of the National Anthem, and the last time I said the Pledge of Allegance was probably when I was in school, that's all. I am not an Obama supporter just pointing out that in my opinion some people read too much into little things. Now if he has openly refused to say the pledge then that is a bit different.I don't know if he has or hasn't...don't keep up on that stuff too well.

good post. Like I said I am not an Obama supporter and I do not know the background of all of the controversy around his pledge/ flag/ national anthem deal.I was taught as a child to place my hand over my heart during the pledge..and during the national anthem it was" stand up , hats off, mouth shut" so yeah my father made sure we knew to respect the country and those who died for it. He is a veteran himself. Didn't mean to sound as though I didn't.

You make a VERY valid point about me not being in the same position as him. Absolutely no offense taken.

> As you may have heard, the President and Congress have said each and every one of us will soon get a nice rebate 'gift.'
>
> If we spend that money at Wal-Mart, all the money will go to China .
>
> If we spend it on gasoline, it will all go to the Arabs.
>
> It we purchase a computer, it will all go to India .
>
> If we purchase fruit and vegetables, it will all go to Mexico , Honduras , and Guatemala .
>
> If we purchase a good car, it will all go to Japan .
>
> If we purchase useless crap, it will all go to Taiwan , and none of it (aside from the sales tax) will help the American economy.
>
> We need to keep that money here in America , so tell all your friends to buy Jack Daniel's whisky, and beer, since those are the only businesses still in the US .

Gentlemen- I too am new to this site... kept quiet for a long time reading to see what kind of people frequent this place. I like what I see!! I am from a very Liberal state that has it all... loggers, hunters, hippies, & yes, some Obama lovers... I am in Oregon. I am 38, rasied w/ military family & if the Pledge is going, hats off, hand over heart & stand at attention looking at the flag!! Hats off at donner. Yes sir/maam & don't disrespect those elders... many of them FOUGHT for us to make poor choices & complain about what is nothing compaired to what they sacrificed. My oipinion: Obama is bad for America... does not respect what this counrty has painfully sacrificed to put an IDIOT like him in office. He has 143 logged TOTAL hours with the senate... its a fact & I am NOT "eading too much into anything" here! Green, wet behind the ears, belonged to a racial chruch, muslim chruch, & wants to "save Africa" we are in for BIG trouble if he is elected... make no mistake about it. Those are only a few facts we know about this fool. I am proud to chat to folks who HOLD THIER BIBLES... you are my kind of folks. Now, If I can get some tips on race motors/prostreet, it's a bonus... good night to you all & keep prayin'

olds48: one last thing, I am a rep for a large Archery company right here where I live. We are proud to say "made in the USA" & if you buy a hunting bow from one of my dealers... the box it is shipped in has a big quote Philipians 4:13, right down the side of the box in big letters. "I can do all things through him that strengthens me" there is hope... there are a few of us still around. Not one part on our bow comes from China. Having said that, everything ELSE I own comes from China!! LOL. No seriously, I have a few things from Malaysia too.

the people on the hill are crooks ,have always been, and will alway be. i think we've let them get to far ,when a "goverment offical" can come to your home & tell you what you can & can't park in your driveway thats to far gone in my opinion. pray for me guys & i'll pray for you and are country .
& heck i don't even go to church

858: I will pray for you... I go here & there to church, but church won't get me to heaven... my acts don't earn a seat there either. I just believe like you, pray like you. Funny thing, my prayers always get answered too... pretty cool.
