it really bumms me out to keep seeing these 6 and 7 thousand dollar cars priced for 15000 or better. also the sell for 5000 and 10500 trade and while im griping no price cars whats the deal here?

I think 50-60% of cars are on here just to see if they can make $ on them. I put cars up forsale just to see if there is the right person at the right time. Never had much luck selling cars on rj but parts I price high and sell them. Other sites I've sold plenty of cars on the high side of the price range just found the right guy.


The other thing is some of these cars people have had for awhile and have become family to them but the economy forces a sale they go by meaning and not what its worth sometimes.

There's alot of truth to that statement. Sometimes prople think they can recoup not only the price of the vehicle. all the parts they've put into it but all their sweat, labor and sentimental attachment. Truth is, the cars worth what the cars worth, the rest is negotiable; ie. parts, mods and whatever work has been done.

All I can tell anyone, you have to have your PRICE in mind, whether you're buying or selling. Then it's just a matter of finding the right person. I kind of view it this way," One fool has money, the other fool has what you want. just got to find YOUR fool"!

Anyone that thinks dealing in cars is a pain. I've finally gotten out of messing with blackpowder guns, you think this hobby has tirekickers?

I have not sold a car on the site. Alot of lowball offers and trade offers. I think I have sent just about everyone on this site pics of the cars I have for sale :lol: There is alot of people out there wanting car pics for there screen saver.

I bought a 69 Camaro BBC turn key car on this site & felt it was a good deal. The car needed some work, but the price was relative... I looked a thousands of overpriced ads to find it however. Some dude even was trying to sell SS Chevelles that were STELLAR for a fraction of what they were worth too, but I found out he was taking pics of cars @ various car shows & posting them as they were his!!! Every once in a awhile, he still does it for attention I guess... what a joke!! wasted my time. I let it go one day after chewing him out on RJ & getting a warning for it.

This is why I'm rebuilding my old car. Everything I was interested in was sold before I could get at it.
