REAR GEARS?

what rear gear should i run
i have a 1994 ford ranger 350 chevy muncie 4 speed 28" rear tire
only used for drag racing

should i put 4:11 or 4:56?

1/8 OR 1/4???-LIVELY

mostly 1/8 but would still like to be able to run 1/4 sometimes without over reving the engine to much

What is over-revving too much? 6000, 7000, 8000, 9000.......

i would like to be at 6000 or so at the traps in the 1/4
i'll be running mid 12s in the 1/4 for now porbably
but the track im mosly gonna run at does 1/8 mile for eliminations
