cooling set up

I have a 429 w/ super cobra jet heads that runs on alcohol and i ran it last year an the temp was only around 160 i know people get rid of the radiater ,but what do they do to still have water in the block etc...how do they set it up and what to use ???? :? :?

My bud had 460 alky in a dragster, he just blocked off everything and cooled it down after a pass. If You have a radiator, on the big trucks we use to restrict the air flow with a winter flap to keep the engine warmer.
