Larry Potter of Alexander, Arkansas rejoins AMP Series during 2008


Alexander, Ark -- Larry Potter of Alexander, Arkansas will be among the teams who support the AMP Series during 2008. Potter will once again pilot his Blue and Yellow, Dodge powered 69 GRT.

The first year with the AMP Series, Potter was able to add on his stats a 10th place season standing along with the Duralite Race Wheel award sponsored by Shawn Brassfield. Race fans for 36 years have witnessed the skill and driving put on by this Arkansas native, and will once again set out to enjoy the competition on weekends with the series.

While Potter is a diesel mechanic throughout the week, since 1972 he has got the full support of his family behind him when taking the wheel on the weekend. Starting out in 6 cylinder class in at I-30 Speedway, he finished 2nd in points. In his 5th year he moved up to Late Models. Potter went on to finish 2nd in points, 3 consecutive years at Riverside Speedway. Over his career he has collected many feature wins and numerous top 10 finishes to date.

Potter is the Crew Chief with son Jeff sharing the title with him, his wife Judy, leads the pit crew family of Stephanie, Jennifer, Jeff, son-n-law Jason, with grandchildren Korey & Madalynn cheering him on when he races. Potter looks forward to a competitive
