tires and gearing

I need to slow my rpm down 300 through the traps, now running 456 gears and 32 inch tires @ 7000 rpm how big a tire do I need to get to 6700? I would like to do this with a bigger tire rather than changing the gear if its possible.

If you go to a 33.4 inch tall tire it should drop you 300 R.P.M. and maintain the same speed.

try changing a shift point. i'm using 4.86 gears and go thru the lites at 6800 using 31-10.5w's.
