I have one in a 436" SBC and my motor guy swears by 'em. He builds alot of SBC roundy motors and says they are the best bang for the buck. Of course if you were gonna spray it heavy or try to make 900 hp w/ a small block, then the Dragonslayer or Magnum would be my choice. He says the finish and tolerances are alot closer on the Compstar series than on any other offshore product. Most are perfect right out of the box, I've seen some new Eagle stuff have to go .010/.010 just to get them right. In a 383 I'd say you can't go wrong. 8) JB

Compstar is the absolute best of the off shore parts, unlike the others sizes are dead on and finish on the journals looks like it was done with a crank grinder instead of a chain saw.Bill
