POSSIBLE SCAMMER PINK LADY IN MT GRETNA PA

I THINK I GOT SCAMMED,BOUGHT A RACING SUIT,AND SHOES FOR 100 SHIPPED TO MY DOOR,SENT A CHECK THEY WAITED FOR IT TO CLEAR STILL WAITING SENT 12-25-07 MANY MANY CALLS AND EMAILS NO RESPONSE,
ALSO HER AD STATES THESE WERE WORN BY HER LATE HUSBAND,SO I FELT SORRY DID NOT BEAT UP THE PRICE ,I PAID QUICKLY,JUST GOT BURNED BE CAREFULL OF THE AD SHE STILLS WANTS TO SELL THE HELMET ??????????

IT WAS CASHED ON 1-08-08 AND THE ONE TIME SHE PICKED UP THE PHONE 1-14-08 SHE SAID SHE SHIPPED IT THAT SAT 1-12-08

No such add,by the way don't send money to PO boxes,and yeah you got took,seems to me Pink Lady has been mentions here in the scammers part maybe a year ago

1 Thing about scams,excuses and buying things cheap at unbelieveable prices,"your going to get took" Buy from reputable people,not fly by night people selling cheap.
Look at the profiles,see how long a member,any honor payment any ratings,etc.

Next time you get the add up copy and paste the link,I couldn't get that add number to work

Sorry for your loss,next time come to the forum and ask questions before you buy not after

i would like to say after reading the comment that the rj addministrater said about if you find someone selling things cheap you are going to get scammed. as a collecter of numerous car parts that i have collected over the years from individuals,swap meet's, that i never got around to useing i figure it is better to give a person a good buy then to have the stuff laying around not being used, and take the very little money that i get for my parts and help buy the part's that i need for my project,than to ask rediculous price's and still have the stuff lying around being unused when i might be able to help a fellow racer or car collecter find a part he need's at a good and fair price,so the moral of the story is not everyone that has a good buy is a scammer. thank's for reading.:D

I agree with you, in this deal the only thing I did wrong was send money to a po box with out good conversations with the person......I felt the RJ administrators comments were a little off tilt, but he can say what he wants as I can and you can, I have found that there are a couple of things in life that are legit family,God,weight lifting and racing,with all these things you can you put your best out and let the world see what you got.............anyway to much philosopy..my car,family and the way I do busniess is honest hard and fast........keep up the good work RJ and I will always listen to peoples opinions, keep 'um coming

Live long ,work and play hard,love family,so when someone does you wrong you can look them straight in the face( with cofidence) and tell them so......that is my 100.00 blirp about life.....that is why the racing community is so cool alot ,alot of really great people and a few fools later thxs jeff

Attaboy,thats what I like to see a new member calling me out,my hats off to you as well. Seems you got things figured out here how RJ works,and thanks I didn't mean everyone,I ment certain members with no honor payments or even a profile,these are the type of people you need to use caution on is what I ment .

JUST RECIEVED AN EMAIL,PINKLADY SAYS SHE MAILED THE GEAR ON 1-2-08 ,"IF I HAVE NOT RECIEVED IT SHE WILL LOOK INTO IT" SENT HER AN EMAIL AND CALLED AND GOT VOICE MAIL.

Bix, I am sorry to read that you have gotten taken. The seller lists location as in Mt. Gretna PA and has a really great hook "her husband was killed and here's his racing suit". Really pulls the heartstrings huh?

Probably not a female running the scam, probably a guy. If you talked to a woman its probably his girl friend or helper.

Reporting it to the FBI is good, as its fraud and because it crossed state lines a federal offense. If you used a US Post Office money order, probably constituted as mail fraud also.

But we know the FBI has a zillion of these reports and Pinklady is counting on them not coming after her/him.

The real issue if you want to go get her is where she is really located and what her real phone number is etc. As you know even rats leave a trail.

Once you know where she is you can sue her in your state and have her served in hers. That should get her attention.

If you want to really go get her, pm me and I will give you some place to start that should allow you to reverse track the cell number (gotta be a cell) and pull some data from the public databases. Its not gauranteed but it has worked for me on a few occasions when I wanted to let the bad guys know they were in for a fight.

Pinklady is there and she has left a trail, you just need to decide how much you want to chase her and whether you want to invest any additional monies.

But look at it this way, make chasing Pinklady a hobby, then you can justify the investment and get total enjoyment from it.

Remember Scammers are cowards hiding behind a CRT.

Just called Deb Young in Mt greta pa,,,and she picked up the phone I still did not get anywhere but her phone number still works and after she hung up.I tried to call again and left her a message to try and make this right... her number is the same as in the ad 1-717-383-3545 .When she picked up the phone I asked for Frank to get her off the scent....I then asked her if I was talking to Deb Young she said yea....I tried to explain the situation and she hung up on me....that is not very nice..but her number is still legit so be carefull jeff

You have verified her location-Now report her to the local authorities. You have an instance of documented theft, you know where she is, so contact the police in that jurisdiction, register your complaint and see what happens.

I think its the least you can do for her.
