would titanium intake valves work for a turbo charged bbc engine and are they stronger or weaker than stainless valves. Reason i ask is i need to turn engine about 8000 rpms to et good in the boat and i thought the titanium valves would be better for the rpm??????? Can they stand the turbo heat??

IMO they are much stonger and lighter only drawback is the cost

At least put them in the intake side if your going to run 8000 RPM.

We have used them on the int side, 2.180 dia 36 lbs boost with no problems as long as you keep it out of detonation. on the ex we used inconel or Ferreas super alloy, regular stainless and titanium wont hold up.Bill
