i was wondering what u guys think about dart pro 1 345;s that have been ported and i think the # are around 390 area not sure what the other #s were. Was thinking about using them on a 572. Bowtie block with a bore of 4.560 and 4.375 crank. As far as i know this is the fartherest i can take this bowtie block. OR am considering a big chief style head but not sure if it would be great for this combo. Just curious which would be the way to go with this combo. Thanks in advance for any advice .

A buddy of mine had a 572 4.500x4.500 with pro1 345 heads with some port work and it dynoed 900hp.Those heads will also work good with the combo you have.

If you go with the chief style. It'll be well over 1000hp pushing 1100 depending on who builds it and what componets are used. 1050hp on my little 522ci and shooting for 1075-1100 soon. This is with 18* Brodix Oval port Big Dukes from Curtis Boggs. I would give him a call or heck he might even post on here as he comes on here.

This head would make 1050+ on a well built 572

or for a 1200 + you could use this,

I'd use the Victor CnC head really, .. it's a damn good deal, ..
make great power, .. and will smoke the Dart and Brodix cnc heads.

David,
My understanding is that there are no shaft mounted rockers available yet but there is a stud girdle.

Thanks George, that makes it taugh to want to run them without using a shaft system.

Sorry,
A little busy, and didn't get back to see your post, ..
T&D has a shaft system with a one piece intake stand, .. about $1400
Jesel has a Sportsman system with individual stands and a tie bar, $1150
Depending on who's CnC head you use would effect the piston, but as
of right now a dome to fit the stock un-ported chamber and the Musi CnC head
is available from Diamond.
A custom piston has been designed for my chamber by Diamond and available
through my shop but my chamber will also take most aftermarket dome shapes, ..
but like with any race part, you need to check and adjust.
I also have a "small" CnC chamber kinda like the Musi chamber but it sacrifices
flow numbers all the way through the lift range.
I have the stud girdles in stock, . . ..
Current TRUE flow numbers
lift - int
.1 - 74
.2 - 160
.3 - 251
.4 - 313
.5 - 370
.6 - 403
.7 - 432
.8 - 448
.9 - 455
1" - 461
