they just left our area and i made it in!...its a new show called pinks past time and i got in with my 68 rs...i took alot of pics and here is the link to what i went threw..it was fun for me as i was one of the first ones to get picked,but others waited along time and didnt get in or even run...

Me and the boys are going to Gateway for sure June 28th. Maybe we will get on as a time run if we don't make it in the top 16. Anyway it should be alot of fun.

the way it is,no..its went 11.9,but has alot to go..Julio from alky controll helped me tune it,but he wants alot more out of it,he says low 11s hi 10s on this block or build my(what Brian @ g-body parts calls it)stage jr. block,just a SG1 block with girtle...ive got a complete race motor all new to put in it,if i want to..

right now my camaro went 10.6 @ 123,so no the GN cant catch it,but I like the GN better to drive...

im not trying to hyjack this thread by the way..

Good, i still have to find out when to register for the event, and i'm hoping to have my 434" in the car by then, my malibu only runs 10.50's with the 377" but hoping for the mid 9's with the 434" although it's a heavy 3200lbs.
I know of about 5 cars in my area that will run mid to low 9's (not sure how many are going)and i'm sure there's lot's more around Red River Raceway that will run in that range and i feel that's where they will draw from.

Looks like we both missed out on the event, i just went to redriver forum and this is what i found.

WE HAVE SIGNED UP 400 CARS,HAVE 25 WILD CARD SPOTS LEFT. TRYING TO FIND OUT HOW THAT WORKS.

Yeah, they sold out in a week or so. I was lucky to get em in as I've been watching their site waiting for the details.

The closest one is in calf. Thats a long way from me do you know if they will come to Oregon or was.
