It is a true Barry Grant carb. But I have no idea from there. It is used, but very little, but makes a good paper weight for my stickers. Anyway it's a double pumper style, no choke horn at all, everything is the smoothed venturis. Silver metering blocks with A12320 on both. The only real #'s on the carb besides that are ingraved into the 2 bosses on the linkage side. First 1 reads 6563010RT and the second 1 reads C816-17. Has billet metering blocks and base plate. I maybe getting rid of this if I find out I can't use it, but would like to know what it is I'm selling besides a BG double pump carb. Thanks for any help.

I can send 1 to someone to post, but I'm computer/PIC stupid. My camera takes the godzilla PICS and I don't know how to down size them.

Here's a PIC of it I hope I've done this right. I'm having a hard time figureing out the resizier. I'll get it right in a year or two, LOL

Edit: I resized it for you.

Ok guys this is too easy.
In your photobucket account, right where you upload pics is a button.
It is called "options"!

Click options and set it for "15" screen (800X600)"
Set it to that and photobucket will automatically resize ALL of your pics to the 800X600 size.

Thanks for the resize. I'm new and admit my mistakes. Oh and since I'm old with no kids it's hard for me to fully understand computers sometimes.

No need to be embarrassed.

And maybe I could have worded the edit better.

Just like cars, we were all new at one time, I just got into computers and went down the long darkside road.
Now I help not attack. (boy I hope there is a short statute of limitations, since I just admitted guilt...lol)

I just meant that resizing is fairly easy once you know what to look for.
Next time you go to photobucket look for the options button I described and click it.
Then look for the 15" monitor button and check it. It will resize all your pics to 800X600 for you no matter what size they are on your computer.

PM me if you need any help, that is what I do and what I am here for...oh and cars I love cars, but that is where I am learning.

The Smithsonian called and they want their carb back!

Seriously, that baby is one of the originals. There should be numbers stamped on the butterflies underneath. What are those numbers?

The butterflies have 289 on them. That's the only #'s I see

Can you get a mic around them and get a number that way?

I say it's an old silver claw.

But to get all the specs phone: (706) 864-8544 and speak with one of the tech gurus.

I don't have a I.D. mic. around the house anymore. It's called good friends help theirselves. Just haven't bought a replacement. It looks to have the exact same size as my 900 C&S blow through. Roughly 1 3/4" around. Until I can find a mic that is the closest I can get you. Thanks

Thanks for the # Chevyguy65. I called them and found out it is a SilverClaw 850. And for you Margaritaman, they had to go in the back and find the books that was in the archives to tell me what it was. Now then I don't know if I should use it, sell it, or stick it on ebay as " OLD ULTRA RARE" Barry Grant silverclaw and see if there is any history nuts out there, LOL. Thanks again for the heads up on the #, should have been my first stop. Never did find anything online.

I'm sure with a kit and cleaning it should work fine, pretty sure all the demons, claws etc take regular holley gaskets.
