I just purchased a Titan Gecko 113ci/115hp with a S&S engine thats really hard to stsrt--I know alot of its because of the hi compression but noway it came that way--Im wanting to know if they came with a special hi torque starter & someone has changed it? I really appreciate any help anyone can provide--I did contact S&S and am waiting for a reply,Maybe they can solve it for me--

sometimes the have compression releases,or you could upgrade to aspikestarter

Ive seen this problem traced back to a bad start relay or the wrong start relay amprage..if you do a cranking compression test and it isnt over 160lbs then compression releases wont do the trick but do make things a whole lot easier on the starter.. :lol:

i thought if they were over a 100 ci they came with compression releases. just what i was told
