Has anyone ever delt with prostartjr?? he's got a rodeck tall deck block im buying! there in n.y.city area. staten island to be more exact. Let me know! thanks!!!!!!!! david. p.s. maybe prostart the race shop down there...

Hey David,
I believe i'd go look at it before spending the money, they don't sell a lot of their big blks. any more. they were reallly big in the 80's and i had one it was a wet blk. and definately weaker than the solid blk. I also had a KB chevy blk, and thought it was stronger.
Now that engine did go 6.71 at 217mph in Linda Langes blown alky trans-am in 1986.
The thing i would look for is welding repairs especially in the web area, also you didn't say if it was b/blk or s/blk.
