the moroso slide wheel shows you need about 400hp at the rear wheels. my brother runs a 3300lb car(thats with him in it) at 11.50s all day at 2500ft elevation. basic stuff. the .100 dome gave him 10-1comp one trick is use the oval port heads with 2.19&1.88 valves. do only a MILD cleanup on the pockets. no port&polish bs. we run a mild hyd cam .560-590 lift cam shift at 5800rpm, 4.10 gears. one point, if you want to win races you need tobe consistant. dont count on the pump gas for that. even if you buy it at the same station. a low octane race fuel will out perform any pump junk. it barely works in the tow rig, why race it? good luck. mild bbc and 3300lb car, run 11.50 all day.
