Ed-got a tech question

I have a tech question I'm hoping you can help me with.My engine builder just informed me he unshrouded the exhaust valve on my new dart iron eagle platinum,215,64 cc sbc heads.What will I gain if anything by unshrouding this head?I understand why he bowl blends and port match but not the unshrouding part.These heads will go on a 383 sbc on alky with a carb in my 3000lb 68 camaro.Thanks

If not we can get more specific. Long and short of it is in my opinion there can be no negative results from valve unshrouding as long as the chamber is not made to be larger than the bore is.
