I was looking thru some stuff i bought and found a small metal can of metallic water pump packing made by Durobilt and sold thru sears roebuck co. it has 30" of packing and is in great shape with a little bit of dirt/grease on the can. any ideas on what years it was made and whats its worth today? thanks :)

IT MIGHT BE THE SAME TYPE PACKING WE USED TO PUT AROUND CAST IRON DRAIN PIPES TO SEAL THEM OFF YEARS AGO!!---LIVELY

ahh yeah i didnt think about that. i thought it might be for an old model t. or tractor or something. still kinda cool to hang on to though :) thanks Lively
