Damn, (davis419b)

You know your sh*t, it should not exceed 1150 at anytime, preferablie between 1,000 and 1,100 as a high temp reading.
Granted you can run faster if you run leaner but you better have a sponser, because you will melt down a lot of parts at a higher temp.

I agree with Davis you have a miss in that combo, a worthy is a light car and that big motor should easily be a 4.6-7 car even with conv. heads. Shot us some more info on the combo.

The egt should be around 1150-1200 in the 1/4. I have noticed when using 2 different egt gauges/probes that it may be atleast a 100 different from the other. Just need to get close and tune from there.

632 Bodix 2x heads, 14.7 comp, 4.10 gear, 33x 16 tires, stall seems to be around 6000. Haven't run it in the 1/4 yet, will this weekend at Super Chevy at IRP.

Can't see what else you want to know. 2004 4 link worhy mono shock, 33x 16 tires, 4.10 gear, 9 inch coan converter, 632 inch. bodia 2x heads - ported, 14.7 comp, 1250 BLP carb, Blp fuel pump, hughespower glide, 35 degrees timing, shifting 6800, launch at 4800, 140 mph in 1/8, 4.85, fuel pressure at the pump holds about 10 psi, just trying what the egt should be to maximize tuning.

1050-1100 in the 1/8th you'll be close.

You need different heads and that combo would fly!! even with them heads it should be a good tenth faster you are leaving some on the table. Conv will be my guess.
