Ground Wire Size

I am looking to mount a ground block for all my ground wires that has a line that runs to the battery. What I need to know is what size whould the wire be that goes to the battery from the trunk. Also what size wire should I use for ground wires.

I personally use a #10 wire from the battery in the trunk to a ground block up in the front of the car.I use this for a few direct grounds,for the nitrous system,only to keep other grounds such as ignition,water pump and fuel pump,which are grounded to the chassis
