The best time to do this is between 12 midnight and 6 am, also make sure to rev it up to about 6000 rpm to set the timing

Congrats. It is always fun to fire up a new motor (oops) I mean engine. (Why do they call it a motor plate then?) Double check everything add a 2nd return spring on the carb and go have some fun at the track.

Getting any closer Mark. I want to see a wheels up launch from that little blue beast or is it white now? Later, Steve.
it will be white , whenever it has been raced a few times, I am close, the closer I get, the more lil stuff comes up. It will be a fun lil bracket ride. If you have a 600 hp sb, I can have , I will show you some launches with the tires up in the air, my lil 355 isnt going to do that, It is a 10 second ride with a 12 second motor, all things come to those that wait!!!!!! I want to race, And I hope it is soon, and my times will suck at first, Its been awhile, but I will have a big ass smile on my face, dragracing does it get any better then that?

That pig kills me. And Mark, since you have that nice new trailer you should bring the Blazer north for a little fun. Here's a link with some dates. Think about it, Steve.

everytime I get closer, I run into more things that come up, I am taking the 67 out of the trailer today, and going to a cruize in tonight. My blazer will run someday soon, but not this weekend like I wanted, I'm way past frustrated!!!!!!

Mark,
Try not to let it get to you.
I am having some issues as well and yes it is a bummer, but look at where we were a year ago.
We have both come a long way and although I have been to the track once I only got three passes.
I am fighting an electrical bug now and have to move my fuel pump because the dinks that did the install mounted it way to high.
You will get there bud and when you do it will be well woth it because your doing it right!!!!
carl if I ever have any electrical problems , I am going to kick that fat boys but, man I dont know if I can kick my leg around like that!!!!!
