Just got my new Pro Systems Dominator from Patrick - wet flow 1600cfm. For my 588ci motor coming together soon. Just wondering if anyone out there has experienced one of these carbs yet? This is the big bore custom, super double throw down model. Patrick told me this carb is making upwards of 25-30 HP more than their standard 1300 dominator.

Let me know - I am real curious to see how this monster works.

Thanks.
:D

I have one of these bad boys on a 632,its new and I haven't tried it yet.
Soon hopefully tho,That carb made the engine run really nice right out of the box. Well I did a few minor adjustments, nothing serious

Great product,and service

Patrick is the man

ProSystems 1600 CFM carbs would do for me too ,they are too spendy to just buy and try then find out later it wasent worth the ET.....
I think they should demo me one

If thats one of them hi-strung 615's your probably out of Carburator, with that 1250 cfm

How many rpm's are you turning it?If you can tell me what you turn the engine,I can tell you how much cfm you need

Are you spraying it with nitrous?

To run that 615 cu in engine efficently at 7800 rpm's you'll need 1527 cfm

So I'd reccomend a pro-system 1600 cfm nitrous dominator would work excelent for your engine

I am tempted but 30 HP more is nice but really, would I even notice
on a nitrous motor.......

Well I can tell you that if you got that 1250 on that engine, you are under carburated by 350 cfm

I'd believe that alone would be much more than 30 hp,so I guess the choice is yours.

Did you see what that Vette had on it for a carb, over at YB? If not go look and take some notes on the HP and Torque readings.

A 7 year old thread! lol

The Pro Systems 1600 is no different than any other brand's big carb. I have an AED 1600 on a 632 and it's been an excellent carb and a lot cheaper than a Pro Systems or an SV1.
