Chris did call said he would have Mike wire money to him then he would get me a certified check. Didn't care about price just wanted me to hold till he gets funds. With all the scammers i wanted to check and see if anyone had any information or either of them. Not saying that they are a bad couple of guys or anything. But with all that I read on site i am a little gun shy on given out any information. Thanks!!! this site is great by the way i spend hours just reading.

I always have an opinion and my opinion is that it is a SCAM....These guys try it all....Bank transfer and that's it if you want to be shielded from their nonsense...I got a 2nd chance offer the other day on eBay and they had taken over the account so the email even went into My Messages account from eBay.....Keep your guard up and don't let it down is the only way to protect yourself, buying or selling...."Scammers are liars and liars are scammers"

OK so a quick up since i am on the road a lot and just happen to be in San Fran and his Agent is 45 mins from me Brings casher check by with photo id. Looked up web site '[email protected]' all good score one for some of the over seas guys going to Norway

SG, the good thing is if you are on the road the camaro is still at home, too many cashiers checks are phony . I would have made his agent turn around and wire you the money before he got the car. Dont give him the car till you get cash no matter how long it takes. Just my opinion,Don.

Check drawn on local bank Bank got a copy of his lis Got his company card took lis plate number Think i am covered. Having my bank run the check today and yes car nor title goes out till check clears

UUHHHH, I think I see something here...You wrote guy is in Norway so why is his email address "any one heard of [email protected]"
I do not think Norway has a Z in it..As a matter of fact here is the site he is using...Why would a guy in Norway use a service in New Zealand :?: This is a red flag to me :!: Good luck

Only thing i can say is i met with his agent while in San Fran. Told him car goes no where till check clears along with Title. Agian agent lives in San Fran met with him took lis plate number as well as made copy of his lis. I will be in and out San Fran for next three months and he is located 45 mins from where i will be located so trip for a short visit if things go wrong

just wait for the clear in the bank. I hate it when the guys use this same scam over and over again. I just posted on that I had sent to me today. They really need a new scam. And I doubt someone overseas wants any car that isnt VERY rare that badly.

Sorry Lots you are correct i called his agent and agent said he was picking up two cars and mine is going to NZ. My bank did call on check said it was good but still said i should not close deal till check clears in 7 10 days So title and car will sit in stacker for two more weeks :wink:

If the bank says 10 days then I would wait 14..The guy has lived his whole life without this car so 4 days won't kill him since his agent should be able to ge the car in a blink mate :lol: ... Better safe than sorry and also believe me we all hope the best for you but also have seen tooooo many of these deals turn sour fast...And one last think...People think a cashiers check is good and you can not stop payment on it, well THIS IS NOT true..I fell in a scam and went to the bank and told them fraud was involved and they stopped payment of the check...It is the ONLY WAY you can stop payment on a cashiers check...30 days later the bank refunded me my money and I thanked them repeatedly....
