Mite have been posted before. But in case you have not seen it. I'll pass it on.
"Don't buy gas on the 15th if one fourth of the country doesn't buy gas for 24 hours the gas companies lose 2 billion dollars and it will lower prices... Its called the F-U gas company day.. And it will lower the gas prices"

buy it on the 14th or 16th instead. The only way you will hit the oil co. is to stop using as much gas as we do. Not buying it on one certain day will do nothing.

I agree, picking a day to protest will do nothing, driving something that's better on gas will do something.

I was told that the reason is they will drop the price in the next day or so to make up for the loss. So we can save a buck or two and stick it to the man, lol. Now mind you this is not my idea, nore do i know if it will work. I was just told it happened in 97 or 99 and worked. And beside what can it hurt to try it?

LOL....they would mess it up, someone would forget to put the bolt that ties the horses to the coach, or it would just barely be in and cause an accident

I believe that while doing this won't hurt them from a fiscal standpoint as you'll need to buy gas eventually, a large showing might get their attention...

We'd have far greater impact if everyone drove 10% less overall

I saw they even mentioned the 15 TH NO GAS DAY on CNN this morning..I read an article last night this has been going on since 1999...I agree it will not change anything but at least I will not have to look at the local non American station owner nor smell his cooked goat....That is worth the effort...Also I started driving a Ford Escort ZX2 and a 91 Nissan Sentra and have gotten the motor cycle or engine cycle out and riding it....If a motor is run on electricity how come we have motor cycles hummmm....I have not voted yet either because of this motor/engine cycle theory...

I have a ZX2 as well. Pretty soon it's gonna be cheaper to run that on C12 instead of pump gas.

Can anyone guess on gas milage with my 540 engine. Hoping to run it on the street in 2008. Still working on the 20 gal tank with some saddle tanks for the Cruise. LOL. 540 10.3 comp, 4:10's, 33' tires, Victor intake, 1050 dominator. I was guessing 5 miles to the gallon. Big solid roller cam. Am I dreaming?
