I’m setting up a small coworking space and thinking about adding a card vending machine for access passes. There are so many models out there—some cashless, some hybrid. For anyone who’s installed one, what features actually matter long-term, and what ends up being a headache?

Setting up a small coworking space has me considering a card vending machine (https://connectvending.co.uk/vending-machines-services/cashless-reader/) for issuing access passes. For anyone who’s installed one, the features that really matter long-term are: cashless payment support (with smartphones/cards), robust cloud integration for user reports and remote management, and easy maintenance for replaceable parts. What ends up being a headache: machines with proprietary parts, limited payment options (cash only or old mag-stripe readers), weak vendor support, and inflexible firmware upgrades. Make sure the vendor offers scalable features and solid service before committing.

nice.......
Solid breakdown — cashless support and good cloud reporting really are what make these machines worth it long-term. The proprietary-parts trap is real, though. If the vendor isn’t responsive, even small issues turn into major headaches fast.
