zoomie vs collector header

I have seen on blown cars that some have regular zoomie headers and I have seen some with a collector header. So it has me wondering which is better? I thought collector headers on blown cars were not good.

An engine is an air pump. If air can get in and out quickly and easily it will be more efficient and make more power. The idea of "an exhaust" being headers? or a different muffler? or maybe removing catalytic converters? they all are specifically designed to let air in and out smoother. The same idea with a ported and polished cylinder head...sort of.
