Scam ??

Have a car for sale on RJ and I have received 2 texts requesting a vin check on the link they they supplied ! Most modern vin check site cannot take the old car 13 digit VINs . Only one I did was a site that took the 13 digit vin and told any theft record or total loss . Anyone else know about or received these texts ? Thanks

Text are first sign of possible scam. They may be overseas. If they are interested enough, legit, and in the USA, they will call you.
