I run a big block Chevy with aluminum rods I spray a 200 hit for 4 seconds . My question is how many runs before I have to replace the rods ? All 8th mile passes

What did your rod manufacturer suggest? Spraying 200 on a 600 horse motor is different than spraying 200 on a 1200 horse motor also. It has been years since running alum rods, but many people say 150 to 200 passes. I know of one SBC with 500 passes and the rods went back in after freshen. Sorry I don't have a definitive answer for you.
