The Fred W. Eberle Technical Center will receive sealed bids from interested buyers to purchase an unfinished hot rod kit car. The kit car includes: a supercharged 454 engine, programmable 4-Speed automatic, 4-wheel disc brakes, air suspension, Ford 9" rear-end, power rack and pinion steering, 4780G transmission, fiberglass body - kit car, hand-fabricated interior, high-performance aluminum/stainless steel exhaust system, 17” rear tires and performance front street tires, AC, bronze color scheme, suicide doors, and power windows. Estimated value over $65,000.00.
Interested bidders are invited to contact Rebecca Bowers-Call, Director at 304-472-1259 to arrange a time to examine the car, if so desired.
The car is being sold “as is”, with all faults. Seller makes no warranties, express or implied, on the property, and Seller expressly disclaims any implied warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Successful bidder will be asked to agree that this means that Seller will not be liable to the successful bidder for any damages to the bidder, its employees, agents, or contractors, as a result of removal, transport, re-installation, or use of the car, and that the agreement acknowledging sale of the car will contain an appropriate indemnity clause to that effect.
Sealed bids will be received at the Fred W. Eberle Technical Center, 208 Morton Ave, Buckhannon, WV 26201 until 12:30p.m. on November 19, 2019 . Proposals may be mailed via U.S. Postal Service, delivered via courier, or hand-delivered. Fax and email bids will not be accepted.
It shall be the bidder’s responsibility to ensure that bids will arrive in the Seller’s office prior to the scheduled bid opening. Late submissions will not be accepted and will remain unopened. All proposals must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and clearly marked as follows:

Seller reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities in bid proposals received. It reserves the right to accept the proposal that will, in its judgment, best serve its interests.
