Here is a unique pair of Vintage Replica Indy open wheel race cars. These are hand built replicas of what are believed to be a 1956 and a 1953. The Red #29 is a replica of Paul Russo's 1956 open wheel Indy race car. The Grey #14 is a replica of A.J. Foyt's 1953 open wheel Indy race car. Both cars have not been raced, they were built to be replicas of actual race cars and are capable of competition but have only been used for display and exhibition shows. Both are powered by highly modified small block Chevy engines paired to a Burt 2 speed transmission with reverse. Internal clutch with torque tube and live rear axle. Torsion bar suspension, 4 wheel Wilwood disc brakes. The red #29 Novi Special is actually the Fuel Injected engine. There are 2 YouTube videos of these cars running and driving.
