History: 1962 MG Midget with 1099 cc motor.
Built and races as a G Production SCCA race car in Denver Colorado and mid-west. The 2nd and 3rd owner raced it with the Rocky Mountain Vintage Racing 1987 until 2000 when it burned a piston. Sat ideal again until bought by Bill Glanville, 4th owner, in fall of 2001. It was updated to meet SCCA and SVRA vintage rules. Up graded to a 1275 cc motor. Bill raced it in 2002 thru 2003. Bill placed second overall in both SCCA historic race group and SVRA. Bill also raced with MGVR and VARAC, took 1st place in endure race. Bill passed away Jan 2004. Tom Glanville (5th owner) bought the car from Bills wife.
I raced it with SVRA in September 2004 also SCCA historic race group. Took 2 first places.
The car looks exactly as it did in 1987 except for roll cage up dates.
