One problem with ladder bar suspension is the short instant centers that come with the design. It is a useful setup and still are for many applications. The problems that arise from trying to run too much power through a short instant center can be hard to handle. Ladder bar cars were meant to dead hook and lift the front end up into the air to transfer all of the weight onto the rear tires which are being driven into the ground. This causes you to have to run double adjustable shocks, short sprung wheelie bars, and long travel frontends to make a car work consistently. While this is a great set up for lower horsepower cars, it's not what you want for a bunch of horsepower. Most cars with 4 links and around a thousand horsepower get set up around 42-48" out and 6-7" off the ground. This is easily achievable through this bracket system without having to lose the rear seat or change the chassis over to a tall 4 link system.
This approach "calms the beast" so to speak. It is a perfect stepping stone between a typical ladder bar and a true 4 link setup.
You can get anything from the brackets for $22.00 each to a whole conversion kit with shocks, anti-roll, track locator, shocks and mounts, plus more for $1599.99.
