Here I have a brand new, never used, 417" sbf built by Pete Harrell of HED. This engine was built for Methanol use with large amounts of boost. The Dart Iron Eagle block has been filled with block filler, the mains have been upgraded with ARP studs. HED made changes to the thrust to deal with increased stress from large amounts of boost and converter charge pressure. The Callies Crank has been internally balanced and harmonics are handled by an ATI dampener. The rotating assembly is finished off with GRP aluminum rods and custom coated Wiseco pistons. The Victor 7721 heads have been CNC ported by CFE (Carl Foltz Engineering) and assembled by HED. Crane Pro Series lifters are motivated by a custom HED camshaft, smith brothers pushrods and Jesel shaft rockers. HED dry decked the heads for heavy boost and methanol use. A heavily ported edelbrock 2828 intake holds up a Berry Motorsports billet intake elbow. The front of the engine is finished off with an Australian Muscle Parts belt drive and a Reichard racing crank trigger. HED converted the head studs to BBF 9/16".
A set of Billet Atomizer 800 pph injectors are included with the engine. There is over $35,000 invested and all parts are new, never used
