This engine started life as a CT604 crate motor. After a season of use as a backup motor in my brother modified - the Block was cleaned, magnafluxed, crank and cam mains lined honed, cylinders bored .020 over, square and parallel decked.
-New Rotating assembly consists of GM forged crank, GM powdered metal pistons, Mahle GM original high silicone pistons. Everything was balanced to .10 gram on a heinz balancer
-GMPP fast burn heads - I sent them out to CFM Performance in IN. They have a 7 angle valve job, valve profiling, bowl blend/port, exhaust port and polish, combustion chambers blended, surface mill w/60cc target volume, new valves, springs, retainers, etc.... with 1.6 roller rockers. Static compression ratio is right at 11:1.
-I upgraded the original cam to Lunati Voodoo grind 60122 - specs: 282/290, 231/239 @.050, .535/.550, 110lsa
-I sent the GMPP intake out with the heads for porting/port match, then also sent to Wilson Manifolds for an MPFI conversion. Wilson did an exceptional job.
-I'm running 48lbs trick flow injectors with wilson fuel rails, wilson 2" tapered spacer, Wilson throttle body, controlled by a Holley HP engine management system.
Engine was fired up after overhaul with a carb and unmodified manifold on it... Ran for an hour at most, then EFI conversion and cam swap was performed.
Also including accessories as noted:
-Billet Fab valve covers - polished and bright dip anodized
-Wilson Tapered 4 hole carb spacer
-Wilson 4150 Throttle body with electronics-
-Holley HP injector harness
-Meziere billet water neck
-High flow water pump.
-Sanden AC compressor - polished
-DC power engineering high amperage alternator
-Howe performance power steering pump and Pulleys
-March performance billet serpentine kit. I stripped the powder coat off and had it bright dip anodized.
-Hitachi style mini starter with heat shield
-Lokar oil dipstick
-Stan's Port Matched Tri-Y headers with titanium cerakote.
-Will include complete Holley wiring harness (ECU not included)
-Will include Comp Cams Fireball ignition module and coil (new in box)
This engine will have plenty of power with great reliability, on pump gas. It's not the most exotic built, but a lot of thought was put into it's design and function. It's truly a showpiece and belongs in a deserving vehicle. Unfortunately I have to discontinue my project and am forced to sell.
