Up for sale is my 1973 Volvo 142 race car. The car is an original "Volvos From Hell" build and is a piece of racing history. Very fun car to own and track, but I am downsizing and need to gain a few parking spots. Very fun car to own and drive, great conversation piece.
Some Specs on the car:
-Fuel injected B20 engine runs great with great oil pressure.
-Suspension in great condition. Custom shocks/springs. Huge custom sway bars. Handles and drives well.
-Brake system is new from front to rear. New master, adjustable prop valve, S.S. Braided lines, new calipers up front, rebuilt calipers in the rear, Hawk racing pads and Brembo rotors. Many of these parts were expensive and difficult to source.
-Fuel cell is new (inside of old steel case)
-Tires are 50% (hoosier slicks)
Car is track ready as-is, will need a few upgrades to raced competitively. As far as I know it will need a new seat, harness, window net, and fire extinguisher. Maybe a few other safety items. I would recommend having the transmission rebuild before racing competitively. Car currently drives well but does not like to shift quickly.
The car will include hundreds of spare engine, suspension, and body parts. These include Crankshafts, engine block, bearings, pistons (new and used ones), rods, covers, bolts, fuel system parts, ECU, suspension arms, ball joints, tie rods, wheel hubs and bearings, rotors, brake pads, body parts (hood, fenders, door, bumper), 2 limited slip rear ends, and many many more parts.
Would love to keep the car but just do not have space or time. Will be Bill of Sale only.
