I have another 9" Ford 3rd Member with a Strange nodular case, Nascar Daytona Front Bearing Retainer, 1350 Yoke, and a Tru-Trac 31 Spline differential. If you're not familiar with the Tru-Trac it's a mechanical (no clutches) differential that works like an open differential until one tire loses traction and then it locks up the other tire also. This is the smoothest and frankly best posi-traction differential made for anything other than drag racing. By the way it works fine for drag racing too, my 650 h.p. with slicks never hurt one. This 3rd member only has 100 miles on it since new. The reason for that is that it has a 2.50 gear. I will change out the gear to whatever you need. I have a pretty good assortment, from 3.0 to 4.0 and probably 5 sizes in between.
