Up for sale is my PATC 46RE Racing Transmission and 3500 rpm stall billet torque converter. Fits Gen 2 Dakota’s and Rams 1996 and later and will bolt up to any mopar small block or cummins diesel that runs a variant of the 518/618/46re/48re. The transmission was built to handle 1000+hp and 1000+ lb Torque and sells for over $6500 for the transmission and billet torque converter. The valve body was modified further by Martin Saine and still has full automatic mode enabled. The converter is a non-lockup unit because we could not get the stall low enough with a lock up converter. No impact to drivability running with a non-lockup controller due to the valve body modifications done by Martin Saine.
The transmission has around 300 street miles, 8 ¼ mile passes and 12 dyno pulls. Was run in my dodge ram behind my supercharged 440 small block (yes a 440 small block…340 reproduction block with a 4.185 bore and 4.00” stroke). Moving to a built 727 transmission because I don’t need the overdrive (don’t want the parasitic loss of the overdrive), want to drop some weight and am not keeping the truck street legal.
