For Sale, a unique opportunity to own part of history. One of the first in several categories, this vintage match race AA/GS 1933 Willys is now legal and NHRA Certified to 8.50. The car is original as built in 1968 and updated in 1970. It was stored for decades until I found and restored it. Updates include the drive train (Gellner 468 Iron BBC, Glide with a Perfect Converter), cage, floor, drive shaft, Mark Williams spool/axles, Willwood rear brakes, anti-mar Lexan windshield, and safety equipment. Paint is extremely close to original. All orange plastic and wings are original to the car. Car runs an all iron mill, with an old school internal coil mag, small pump on alcohol at 12% overdrive on the new stripped Littlefield 6-71. The car is fresh and ready to compete as the fastest nostalgia gasser on the planet. Goofing off it ran a 9.08 @ 156 missing a shift. Best pass to date in the 1/8 is 5.28 @ 138mph. This is on start up plugs, no pill change, and initial timing, read no tune. It has more....more than I can give it. It deserves a owner that can focus on it and refine what I have done. I have too many irons in the fire, and cannot give this car the time it requires. That being said if I had a full ride sponsor that could hire a driver, crew chief, cost and track insurance, this car would not be for sale for any price. Trades...it would have to wow me...partial is possible, but I have unique tastes and a hell of a collection already.
