I am selling my 2009 Nissan GT-R “We the People” Liberty custom race car. I purchased the car in 2010 when it was still a street car and began taking it to the track for HPDE’s. In 2011 I moved into the NASA Southeast Region Time Trials series, racing the car in the TTU class, placing first and second numbers of times. Later that year, following a crash, I transitioned the car to a fully race-prepped car, with certified caging, carbon fiber doors, fenders, and hood, and all of the other necessary safety upgrades.
In 2012, I went through NASA’s Competition School and secured my racing license. From that point forward, I raced the car numerous times in the NASA Thunder Series in the ST2 class. The car consistently placed first, second or third in nearly ever race it entered. In 2014, it was the runner up in the Southeast Regional Championship and also placed 3rd in the NASA Eastern National Championship. In 2015, the car placed 1st or 2nd in ST2 class in most races that it entered and ultimately won the Southeast Regional Championship.
The car is in excellent condition, very reliable, and an absolute blast to drive. If you’re looking for a fully prepped race car, with a solid track record of winning, thoroughbred service (it has been serviced exclusively by TopSpeed Motorsports and Forged Performance during its entire life), and a "sit and drive" experience, then this is the car for you. (And for what it’s worth, I have another 2013 GT-R and have owned a total of five, so I am a firm believer in the GT-R product.)
The car set class records at Carolina Motorsports Park and Daytona International Speedway, along with a 1:29 at Road Atlanta. But honestly the car has much more with a better driver.
The car's upgrades total $100,000 alone and they are listed in one of the photos.
The “We the People” theme is a wrap so it can be removed if the new owner prefers. The car is black beneath the wrap except for the carbon fiber doors, fenders and hood.
There are a number of racing videos of the car on YouTube if you search for the channel "speedncontrol"
